When it comes to bringing our original designs to life, not all materials are created equal. As part of our ongoing commitment to getting closer to our sustainability goals, we’ve worked hard to find the perfect combination of better materials and more responsible production. After careful evaluation, we have determined that, for both sustainability and durability, certified organic cotton is the best choice for many of our products.

What is organic cotton?

To be recognized as such, organic cotton must be certified separately from other cotton. Internationally recognized organizations, such as OEKO-TEX® and Textile Exchange, verify the safety and quality of organic cotton through a rigorous standardized system. It is tested to ensure that it is free from harmful chemicals, including pesticides. This not only means that organic cotton is safe for people, but also implies that it is free from harmful chemicals during production, which has a direct impact on the natural habitat where it is grown.

2. Feels good: GMO-free and pesticide-free

Our 100% organic cotton is tested and certified to ensure it contains less than 10% GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms) and is free of harmful pesticides.

How do we integrate the use of organic cotton into the production of our original designs?

Once certified, organic cotton is spun into organic cotton yarns that our family-owned factories in Europe use to craft our original designs. We understand that sustainability has many facets. Materials matter, but so do durability and quality. To ensure both, our team carefully designs the ideal composition for each product.

For our bold t-shirts, we found that 100% organic cotton was our best bet.

For our original socks, we opted for a blend of durable organic cotton combined with shades of color to make our designs pop. This blend checks all the boxes:
